How my journey began

Amy Stephens has been walking a path of transformation for over 24 years. In the beginning of teaching yoga starting in 1998 she wasn’t sure if she could ever go back to a 8-5 job - - which reality check was a 9 am to 7 pm job - 7 days a week. Ughh!

As a small child, she was comforting the people in her life. If her dolly had a boo - boo then she put a band-aid on it and healed her. When asked in 8th grade gym class to lead an aerobic routine - she stepped up and taught for the teacher who was out. When working on her own trauma - which by the way she never thought was trauma - she opened up to a new way of supporting her clients in 1:1 work.

We all have our own unique path and sometimes we need a nudge in the right direction. Know Amy is here for you and will meet you where you are on your journey.

I have used this website more than once for my own journey and for providing information to my clients to understand certain emotional situations.

They would love a donation and you can donate here.

  • Tree House of Greater St. Louis - Horse Therapy

One of my first yoga students who gained so much from her practice, passed away in June 2022. She was always a bright light in the room. She volunteered for Tree House of Greater St. Louis, a Horse Therapy Facilty. In between running her own spa and hair salon to being a fantastic grandmother. To even taking time out to stop by the nursing home to paint my grandmother’s nails. Mary, you will be missed.
